I started teaching at Gilmer HS in 2015. Gilmer is the only ISD I’ve taught at, however, I had just about ten years teaching experience in the Air Force. I am the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor and Department Head for AFJROTC. I currently teach the Aerospace Science portion of our course.
I taught Air Base Defense and the Security Forces Apprentice Course at the Security Forces Academy as well as Automated Security Systems in the Security Forces Advanced Courses from 1997-2002. Additionally, I was an Associate Professor of Aerospace Science at the University of Houston from 2011 until I retired in 2015 were I taught in Air Force ROTC department.

I’m an avid football fan. My favorite teams are the Gilmer Buckeyes, the Oklahoma Sooners and whoever is playing Oklahoma State. When I’m not teaching or at an AFJROTC event, I spend time with my family.
